Tyco, Inc.

Plaintiffs filed a Complaint in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire that alleged that Defendants issued misleading statements to the market as a result of aggressive and unlawful accounting actions taken by Tyco. The case was brought on behalf of all purchasers and acquirers of Tyco securities between December 13, 1999 and June 7, 2002.

Tyco International Ltd. agreed to fund $2.975 billion in cash to settle Plaintiffs' claims. Tyco's former auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers, also agreed to pay $225 million to settle Plaintiffs' claims.
